Every year the Red Cross hosts an event on Refugee Day to unite the refugees of the community. I volunteered to design the logo for the theme, flyers, and t-shirts for the Phoenix, AZ chapter.
In addition to the design aspect, I had the opportunity to volunteer at the event and spend time with these wonderful kids. After hearing some of their stories I was even more grateful to be spending the day with them.
